Βασικα το ολο θεμα εχει ξεκινησει απο το βιβλιο του Michael Paul Stavrou "Mixing with your mind" o οποιος ομως αναφερεται στο Eq και λεει λοιπον
"I noticed that when you listen to audio backwards, and you're hearing none of the transients, what you do hear more clearly is the tone of the instruments. Normally you'd hear a 'twack!', which distracts you from the tone for a split second - there is some tone there, but you're distracted by the hit. But when you play audio backwards you hear the tone sneaking in from miles away and then and then right at the very end, when you least expect it, there is a click, which was the attack. Your whole focus changes. Instead of EQing for the attack you naturally focus more on the resonace, the ring, the tone of the instrument - which when you think of it, comprises the vast majority of the envelope anyway.
Anyway I'd get these mixes together and I found that, while they were playing backwards, you can balance backing vocals, brass and strings much better because you're not distracted by when they hit their instrument. All you hear is the sustain while the note is produced - i.e. the 'bloom' of the note blend better.
