#2 Q: People claim that noise or palying during that warm up period will shorten significally the lifetime of the valves.
A: "I do not believe that is true., and cannot see any reason why that should be, getting back to a valve radio this had a mains switch that meant that noise was there all the time as the valves warmed up. Also Remember amps like Vox AC30 never had stand by switches.
Don't believe all you read especially if it is from America."
