Εξαρτάται βέβαια και από το τι παίζεις, αλλά στα δικά μου αυτιά οι filtertrons είναι πιο κοντά σε μονό μαγνήτη παρά σε humbucker ηχητικά. Η ευκρίνεια και ο διαχωρισμός στις νότες με κάνουν να το πιστεύω αυτό νομίζω. Βρίσκω τον εαυτό μου συχνά να ηχογραφώ κάτι με τελεκάστερ και μετά ακριβώς το ίδιο πράγμα με γκρετς και να μου ακούγονται αρκετά όμοιοι ήχοι. Εντάξει βέβαια η εμπειρία στο χέρι καμία σχέση...

Συμφωνώ απόλυτα, ωστόσο και πολλά electromatic μοντέλα 2016 - σήμερα, αν δεις έχουν μαγνήτες blacktop filtertrons, τύπου Baldwin era. Δε μου ακούγονται άσχημα. Λίγο λιγότερο trebly, λιγότερο volume λόγω χαμηλού output, δέχονται gain γιατί είναι wax potted, και ηχητικά δεν είναι και χάλια. Εξαρτάται τι θες να παίξεις, αλλά στα fora λένε θετικά σχόλια

Η ομορφιά σε μία κιθάρα (και όχι μόνο) είναι καθαρά θέμα υποκειμενικό. Εδώ ας πούμε είμαι στο Λονδίνο με την πιο όμορφη (αριστερά) και την πιο ακριβή (δεξιά) κιθάρα που έχω δει ποτέ από κοντά. 13.000 pounds η δεξιά κιθάρα ρε φίλε. Καθίστε φρόνιμα εκεί στο custom shop της Gretsch.

Πες μου λίγο για το Bigsby. Σαν ήχο και αίσθηση μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ, περισσότερο από οποιοδήποτε άλλο trem system έχω δοκιμάσει. Ωστόσο, ξεκουρδίζει την κιθάρα μου εύκολα, αρκετά εύκολα θα έλεγα. Είναι θέμα σεταρίσματος ή έτσι είναι τα Bigsby, face it;
