Οντως θελει τεραστια αυτοπειθαρχια το να εχεις τετοια τρελλα chops & να παιζεις τοσο απλα,ομως και ο μεντορας του (Steve Gadd), που τον εβαλε στο κυκλωμα των σεσσιοναδων οταν ηταν παιδι,το ιδιο δεν εκανε?

Μπορεί αντικειμενικά να έχει πολύ καλύτερες στιγμές αλλά για μένα :

α) Briefcase full of blues. Η συνεργασία του με τον Dunn ήταν απλα ποίημα. Καλύτερη και από αυτή με τον Palladino. Με σημάδεψε. Ακόμα και τώρα που το βάζω στα παιδιά μου, τρελλαίνομαι.

Σπέρνουν χωρίς να φαίνονται. Ποίημα.

β) Και στο Blues Brothers και στους Commitments. Αν ήμουν έστω και μπούμαν έστω και σε μία από τις δύο αυτές ταινίες θα ήμουν απλά πανευτυχής.

καθολου απλο και καθολου ευκολο...η αυτοπεποιθηση,αυτοκυριαρχια,πειθαρχια και η πιστη ακομα και στην πιο μικρη νοτα αλλα και στον ΧΩΡΟ αναμεσα στις αξιες,η απολαυση της ΔΙΑΡΚΕΙΑΣ των αξιων....δεν ειναι καθολου ευκολο...το να πεταξεις το εγω σου στον καδο ανακυκλωσης και να θεσεις σε δευτερη μοιρα την "προσωπικη προβολη"σου...καθολου ευκολο...το να καθεσαι πισω απο το σετ και να ακους τον συνολικο ηχο της μπαντας απο εξω,να βλεπεις την μεγαλη εικονα....καθολου ευκολο...θελει πολλη και σκληρη δουλεια τοσο πανω στο σετ οσο και μακρια απο αυτο...θελει πολλη και σκληρη δουλεια προς τα μεσα σου παρα προς τα εξω σου... ;)

ο ανθρωπος ειναι απλως ΤΕΡΑΣ...ΕΙΝΑΙ ΤΕΡΑΣ!το ξαναλεω...ΤΕΡΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΣ!!!!!!!!

 

κι οσο παει γινεται καλυτερος,το γκρουβ βαθαινει ολο και πιο πολυ...εκει που λες,as deep as it gets,ο τυπος λεει "ξερεις φιλε,υπαρχει ακομα δρομος ως τον πυρηνα της γης..."...

Παντως τοσο ευελικτος ντραμμερ δεν νομιζω να υπαρχει εχει παιξει απο τον Joey Ramone μεχρι τον Sonny Rollins!!! ;D  (Πανκ τζαζ αφτο ινε??? ;D).

 

Και η μπαντα που εχει κανει με τη γυναικα του δεν ειναι ασχημη (αν και οντως μετα απο 5-6 ακροασεις ο δισκος...ψιλοπεθαινει...)
