Διαχειρηση μνημης Nuendo 4.3

Γεια σας!Εχω Pc 4πυρηνο με 4 giga ram και μπορω και φορτωνο Vst's  βιαια mexri 2,5 giga με ενα προγραμα που ειχα βρει απο το ιντερνετ για αυτο το λογο!Υπαρχει δυνατοτητα σε ενα μηχανημα με πανω απο 4 Giga ram να μπορεσεις να ανοιξεις στο Nuendo 4 Vst's πανω απο 2.5 Giga ram αν επεμβεις στο λειτουργικο των Xp??αν οχι ποιος λογος υπαρχει να φτιαξω μηχανημα με πανω απο 4 giga ram αφου δεν θα την εκμεταλευομαι???

Οκ, λοιπόν πρόσφατα κάναμε ένα τοπικ περί του /3gb switch (καλά όχι και τόσο πρόσφατα..) , δοκίμασε το ,σε μένα δουλεψε άψογα. Αυτό ουσιαστικά από όσο είχα διαβάσει επειδή τα 32bit συστήματα δεν μπορούν να διαβάσουν μνήμη άνω των 3gb και ακόμα χειρότερα το κάθε πρόγραμμα δεν μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει πάνω από 2gb. Με αυτό το switch απλά δίνεις 3gb στο πρόγραμμα.

Windows normally splits RAM 50/50 between programs and the system. With a max of 2GB for a single program.

With the 'switch' you can make it 3GB for 1 program and 1GB for system + paging file/virtual memory.

 

Changing your Boot.ini file to below (or something similar) will give you the option to boot normally or to activate the 3GB switch and programs that are 'large adress aware' will be able to use 3 GB of physical RAM.

Pro Tools 8 is LAA for example."

 

αν οχι ποιος λογος υπαρχει να φτιαξω μηχανημα με πανω απο 4 giga ram αφου δεν θα την εκμεταλευομαι???

Ο μόνος τρόπος να διαχειρίζεσαι όλη την μνήμη σου κανονικά είναι τα 64bit.

 

ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ

a) Access the boot.ini file by opening the System Properties dialog on "My Computer". Under the Advanced tab and Startup and Recovery press Settings. In the startup and recovery dialog press the edit button. This should open a text file with something close to the following content:

b) Were are going to modify it and make a failsafe so that if the mod doesn't work we can go back to the original setting:

 

Copy the last line and add /3GB to the end of it (make sure you spell it right). Between the parentheses type 3GB at the end so you'll be able to recognize it when XP restarts. Also if you don't have noexecute=optin add that too. The whole thing will look like this

c) Save the file and restart the machine. Now you will have 2 choices when booting. Pick the '3GB'. If it crashes or you experience any other problems go back to the first option. Later try adding the userva=2500 switch to the last line of boot.ini and save. Personally I didn't have to use it. This is how the last line would look:

Also check System Properties and make sure that under the General tab it say Physical Address Extension at the bottom.

 

Γενικώς υπάρχει μεγάλη κουβέντα για αυτό, επίσης υποτίθεται ότι τα xp σου δίνουν 2gb για κάθε process και όχι για κάθε πρόγραμμα. Οπως και να χει, το benefit είναι υπαρκτό και αφορά τις εφαρμογές που είναι LARGEADDRESSAWARE.
