Πώς κάνουμε σωστό format για DAW PC?

Αυτα ειναι τα specs των Windows XP Performance Edition SP3 τα οποία τρέχουν απλά υπέροχα σε πιο παλιά PC

Aν είναι να θεωρηθει παραπομπή σε πειρατικό λογισμικό, να ερθει το forum και ο yameth σε δυσκολη θεση κτλ ας διαγραφεί αλλά πριν γίνει αυτό ρίξτε μια ματιά στα specs και καταθεστε απόψεις

Aς σκεφτει όμως και η MS τα ΤΡΑΓΙΚΑ ΤΗΣ ΛΑΘΗ με το να αναγκάζει tweakerαδες και χακεραδες να πειράξουν ενα λειτουργικό που όταν βγηκε θα έπρεπε να έχεις super duper μηχανημα για να τρέξει σωστα.

Μόνο όταν βγήκαν τα διπύρανα τρέχαν πραγματικά σωστα τα XP

 

Original Size: 595 mb

New Size: 250 mb (Difference of 345 mb)

 

This supports ALL Languages and ALL Keyboard Layouts.

 

This is a FULL Install. You CANNOT Upgrade from previous versions of Windows.

There is no validation required. This PASSES WGA. This works 100% with Windows Update.

I have included the CD-Key already in the install process. This means at no point will you have to enter it.

Some people using Macs or Virtual Machines might need the serial. See Serial.txt if you do need it.

This has all windows updates through December 2008. This is has been tested numerous times with no errors.

This has minimalist Internet Explorer 6.

This is the x86 version (32Bit).

I have disabled and deleted the Classic Windows XP Install Screens with the info about XP and the blue Background.

You will just see a black background now and the install will look similar to 2000. This saves Space and gives more

info while installing.

 

The Minimum HD and RAM Requirements have been lifted. You can try and install this on whatever machine you like now.

High ISO Compression has been enabled to save space.

Προειδοποίηση: το υπερβολικό σκάλισμα των XP βλάπτει σοβαρά την ψυχική υγεία. Με την σημερινή ισχύ των μηχανημάτων που κυκλοφορούν, αν κλατάρει λόγω απαιτήσεων ένα project, το τελευταίο που θα φταίει θα είναι το τόσο απελπιστικά εξονυχιστικό (και ΒΛΑΒΕΡΟ πέραν των στοιχειωδών) tweaking. Άλλα έχουν προτεραιότητα και τα έχουμε ξαναπεί: το channel grouping, το freeze σε τυχόν πολλά ταυτόχρονα βαριά VST όπως ορισμένα synths κλπ.

 

Λέω ότι το τόσο εξονυχιστικό και εξαντλητικό tweaking που φτάνει σε τέτοιο σημείο είναι βλαβερό γιατί στο παρελθόν το είχα κάνει κι εγώ. Έλεγα τα ίδια ακριβώς: ναι, αυτό το service δεν θα το χρησιμοποιήσω ποτέ, το άλλο δεν έχει λόγο ύπαρξης κλπ κλπ. Αμέσως μετά άρχισαν να προκύπτουν δεκάδες προβλήματα, τα οποία λύθηκαν αφήνοντας όλες τις services στα defaults τους και προσέχοντας το Startup στο msconfig.exe. Όταν απενεργοποιείς μια service, τα dependencies επεκτείνονται και αλλού, και ποτέ δεν ξέρεις πότε θα την αναζητήσει το σύστημα περιμένοντας ότι θα τρέχει ενώ αυτή θα είναι disabled.

 

Όσο για το αν τρέχουν πραγματικά σωστά τα XP μόνο στα διπύρηνα, θα σου πω το εξής: στο σπίτι τα έχω σε λαπτοπάκι 7 ετών (ναι, καλά διάβασες) με 1gb μνήμη, τρέχω χαμούς με Αbleton ή Reason rewired σε Cubase 3, και τα πάει ακόμη μια χαρά. Τα XP αν τα σεβαστείς και ακολουθείς ορισμένους κανόνες δεν θα σε απογοητεύσουν. Το πρόβλημα πάντα ήταν ότι οι πιο πολλοί είτε τα τρέχουν απρόσεκτα σαν ξανθιές γραμματείς σε δημόσια υπηρεσία, είτε έχοντας υπερβολική εμπιστοσύνη στις ψιλογνώσεις τους παίζοντάς το μαστροχαλαστές και αλλάζοντας τα πάντα, είτε κάνοντας συνεχώς upgrades κάθε 6 μήνες πριν προλάβει καλά-καλά ένα μηχάνημα με το software του να ωριμάσει.

Με κάλυψαν οι προλαλήσαντες, βασικά θέλω μόνο να σημειώσω ότι είναι τουλάχιστον επικίνδυνο να "παίζουμε" με tweaked, edited, ποτσοκομμένες εκδόσεις οποιουδήποτε λειτουργικού συστήματος αν δεν ξέρουμε τι κάνουμε.

 

Με το "ξέρουμε τι κάνουμε", προφανώς δεν εννοώ να ξέρουμε πώς γίνεται το format ή να μπορούμε να γράψουμε και 2 γραμμές σε μια κονσόλα ενός Linux distro.

Εννοώ να γνωρίζουμε ΤΟΥΛΑΧΙΣΤΟΝ τα βασικά σχετικά με αρχιτεκτονική υπολογιστών, να έχουμε εμπειρία διαχείρισης λειτουργικών συστημάτων σε επαγγελματικό επίπεδο, να έχουμε σκαλίσει επιτυχώς ourselves κάποιο λειτουργικό κλπ.

 

Προσωπικά δεν έχω ακόμα τη σιγουριά να πω ότι μπορώ να αντιμετωπίσω οτιδήποτε μου βγάλει ένα λειτουργικό, κι ας είναι οι σπουδές μου και (εδώ και κάποια χρόνια) η δουλειά μου πάνω σε αυτό το αντικείμενο.

Παιδιά νομίζω ότι έγινε μεγάλο το θέμα (καλώς έγινε...δε λέω) σχετικα με τα Performance Edition.

 

Tα συγκεκριμενα τα πρότεινα για όχι τοσο συγχρονα μηχανήματα απλά και μόνο γιατί σε μένα δουλεύουν υπέροχα...καλύτερα από τα retail που εχω μπορω να πω, αλλα το έκανα με ΔΙΚΟ ΜΟΥ ρίσκο και μου βγήκε σε καλό.

 

Απο κει και πέρα ο καθένας βάζει το OS που επιθυμει αναλόγως με τις δυνατότητες του μηχανήματος που διαθέτει

 

Μην το τραβήξουμε άλλο για τα PE η ουσία του thread είναι η σωστή διαμόρφωση ενός pc είτε για γενική χρήση είτε για επαγγελματική...οπότε ας το γυρίσουμε στην ουσία... ;)
